In "A Deadly Grind" why did Joel break up with Jaymie? This is a small thing but I would like to know. He just walked out on her.

Victoria Hamilton Jaymie would like to know too - LOL - but in truth... Joel is one of those guys who doesn't leave a woman until he has another one lined up, and... he found Heidi, who (not being 'in' with the people of Queensville) didn't know he lived with a girlfriend until it was too late. Joel and Jaymie were never a good fit. Living together, Jaymie was starting to grow disillusioned with Joel, and he is the kind of guy who can't handle that. At the first sign of a woman demanding more of him than he is capable of giving, he's... gone.
