How do you get inspired to write?

Julie Morrison I go to the page with things I don't understand, things I want to work out, things that have happened that I want to say something about but I'm not sure what, things I want to talk about that I'm others might not be willing or able to listen to, and, most often, things I want to see in a different way. An empty page is the best kaleidoscope I have found: I give it pieces of impressions, observations, feelings, and together we turn them to see different points of view and to hear different versions of the same story.
