What mystery in your own life could be a plot for a book?

David Loring Nash I have a vivid memory from kindergarten. I was riding the bus home by a farm that has since become a Realtor’s office. I looked out the window and saw a figure beneath a shroud in the field by the old barn. The lifted their head and I could have sworn it was a skull looking back. In hindsight, I would guess it was someone using an old photography technique documenting Barnes or farms of Southeastern Minnesota. But to me and for a long time, it was something darker. Something ghostly.
