I am not a fan of books that make protagonists of "not nice" people. I hated Gone Girl. I didn't care for Savannah at all. Whatever justifications Joy found Savannah's actions were unconscionable. Most of us face disappointments and failures w/o setting out to destroy the lives of those who we think responsible. I felt Savannah didn't get her just desserts. Wonder if anyone else felt this way?

You're not meant to like Savannah; her "disappointments & failure" caused a mental break & she lives in a psychotic world of blame & revenge. The Delaney's let her get away with trying to destroy them, but the police may be waiting for her when she arrives at her mother's apartment. Hope so! (less)
