Deborah answers “Based on the past several Dean Koontz...”

Based on the past several Dean Koontz books, the EBOOK version of this novel will not be available at any public library. If you want it, you will have to purchase it from Amazon and of course only the Kindle eBook version is available for purchase. Amazon the Publisher of Dean Koontz novels has decreed that public libraries cannot purchase his newer eBooks. How do his readers feel about that?

My e-reader only has the Nook app and doesn't have enough storage to download the Kindle app. I was wanting to read a book by another author for my book club earlier this year. All library copies were checked out and the e-book was only available for purchase through Amazon. I finally purchased it and downloaded it to my laptop. It's very inconvenient to read on a laptop. This is just one more reason that I do not like Amazon.

John I don't know this, but I suspect that Dean Koontz is on board with this because he makes more money without having to give his novels away in librarie ...more
