Sorry it's taken me so long to get back and answer this question! I'm just figuring out my way around Goodreads as an author. :)
The answer to your question is YES. I believe all of my books have a 'hint' of romance in them. In my opinion, romance is the key to all good fiction. Really, it is. In Night Watch, which begins a brand new mystery series for me - the romance between my key characters is going to develop over the course of several books, rather than in one book, as it does in all LIS books.
