What mystery in your own life could be a plot for a book?

Linda Hall Well, I really thought and thought about this one, but oh dear, my life is very boring in comparison to the lives of my mystery characters. So, I really can't think of a 'mystery' in my family or extended family that would qualify as something worthy to write a whole novel around. Plus, I very much write fiction. I would be utterly horrified if half the things I wrote about actually came true in real life!

I get my ideas from news, from things around me, from my imagination and playing 'What if?' I play 'What If' a lot. What if that car parked over there had a dead body in it? What if I was wandering around the store with a family member and suddenly they weren't there any more?

That's what I do a lot. I play What If.
