Just finished 7 Deaths last night and I have to know: were the Plague Doctors inspired by the game Pathologic? If not, why plague doctor costumes?

Stuart Turton I was taught about Plague Doctors in school and I've always found them a bit scary. I love the idea of healers who look terrifying - and given the role the PD plays in the book, that seemed fitting.

Just finished The Last Murder at the End of the World and couldn’t help but notice a few character names. Jack, Clara, Ben - are these all nods to Lost? Love the parallels with the fog/smoke monster, secret science labs/dharma initiative scattered around the island, etc. Loved it!
