I LOVED this book but I feel like I missed something. My question is, how did August get Augie's knife? Because for Jane to have recognized it he must have had it after he left his family, but his sister/August's mom had it to give to August? Unless it's just a matching knife to the one he had? I'm assuming I missed something, but it's driving me crazy, help!
