No question, just a comment. I love both of your series so much, but China is my favourite. I began reading the series when I was going through a rough time, and the books helped me a lot back then. I still read every one as soon as it comes out. So are there more to come?

Susan Wittig Albert I'm celebrating (yes!) being 81 and intend to keep writing as long as the stories are there and I can give them voice. This year (2021), there'll be HEMLOCK, https://susanalbert.com/hemlock-book-28/. In 2020, there'll be another Dahlias mystery (RED HOT POKER). After that--well, I've always wanted to write about ginger . . .

The China Bayles series sounds interesting but I can't find the first 4 books for Kindle. I'm limited to ebooks for reading due to vision loss (not a fan of most audio versions). Would I be missing a lot of story/character background if I only start at #5?
