Lois McMaster Bujold:
Not to be one of those annoying fans who asks when the next book is due when the last is scarcely out the door, but might we expect a third Penric collection with the 7th, 8th, and 9th novellas, and if so, when?
Lois McMaster Bujold
A third collection on paper is certainly possible, and hoped-for, but it can't happen till Subterranean Press's really quite short term of exclusive license for the last story runs out. Which is "Masquerade in Lodi", probably to be published as a limited hardcover by SubPress sometime this coming winter. (I've seen the preliminary cover art.) So no third collection before 2023.
I have a nice series title ready for it, anyway -- Penric's Labors.
Meanwhile, all three collections -- Penric's Progress, Penric's Travels and Penric's Labors -- are available now for foreign language translation sales. With the novel to join them soon, for a tidy package.

Lois McMaster Bujold:
Not a question, just a Thankyou. I am really enjoying the Penric novellas, not just for the content (which is excellent) but also for the Serial Form, it takes me back to being a kid when serial instalments where all the go and, even though we would be hanging out for the "next instalment" we didn't have to wait ages for another exciting adventure. Love having a really good read more frequently. Thanks Lois!?

Lois McMaster Bujold:
Listening for the first time the audio version of the Penric novellas, I found a great similarity between Desdemona, and how Penric views her as unique being and repository of knowledge through centuries (and what a waste it would be to lose it) AND the Trill like Dax from Star Trek Universe. Is it a coincidence or not ?

You say the e-writing process has gotten frighteningly fast. Good thing? Bad thing? Has it changed the way you write? Or any of the different stages of your writing? For myself, I can look back and see so many things that I now do totally differently because of the computer and the internet.
