Why was Julian, the father of Isabelle and Vianne, not interrogated by the Nazis? Is there any rational reason for that? Sorry if I spelled the characters’ names incorrectly. Mostly I have to listen to audiobooks nowadays rather than read because my wife is sensitive to light. It’s okay, but it doesn’t do much for one’s spelling.

When they finally had him (or so they thought) I guess their main goal was the execution. So, no need to interrogate him.(less)
