Bill Curry
asked:
Why was Julian, the father of Isabelle and Vianne, not interrogated by the Nazis? Is there any rational reason for that? Sorry if I spelled the characters’ names incorrectly. Mostly I have to listen to audiobooks nowadays rather than read because my wife is sensitive to light. It’s okay, but it doesn’t do much for one’s spelling.

They interrogated Juliette Gervais (Isabelle) because they wouldn't and did not believe a woman to be The Nightingale, so they were looking for information. When they finally had him (or so they thought) I guess their main goal was the execution. So, no need to interrogate him.

yes, seems like they would've questioned him. however its possible they just wanted so badly to find "him" and to make a display of him. Also maybe bc the war had turned at that point, their wasn't as much rational thinking. I don't know.
