Hello Mr Riddle, I'm just switching from the first to second books in the Origin series, and I'm perplexed about the use of the name Atlantis and the site claimed to be Atlantis in the book not being where Atlantis (ruins) is 30km NE of Ouadane. Was that part of the plan for the story or a unintended misuse of the name? Don't get me wrong, I loved the first book and have the Long Winter lined up after Origin.

Hi Patrick,
Thanks for the question. I'm not familiar with the location you mentioned. The site of Atlantis in the trilogy is fictional.
I hope you enjoy the rest of the trilogy.

Just read through all three of the Origin Series books. Fantastic fun! I'm a sci-fi/fantasy geek at heart but I was especially enjoying the Bourne/Bond/MissionImpossible type vibe going at the start of the first book. With David doing his best to stay one step ahead of . I read that you're working on a thriller set on Earth - should we expect to see more of that type of action?

Let me congratulate you on the novel Departure. Love it! The concept of this book was simply formidable. It mixes a lot of great topics for those who love sci-fi like I do, ranging from time travel, to conspiracy and also giving room for great life questions such as 2nd chance at life. You've mentioned somewhere that you are writing a thriller, so my question is will it be based on real events? Thanks!

Thank you very much for all your books, I have read the Atlantis trilogy whilst i have been on sick leave and it has kept me from going stir crazy. Whilst reading Atlantis World i had to put down the book several times as the imagery was so amazing it made me feel a little overwhelmed. I have also read Genome and count down the days until the next installment. Thanks again...Oh yeah need a ?
