Hi Braxton,
Thanks for the question. Yes, I've been working for quite some time on a follow-up to Quantum Radio. I really did love that story. I'll have more to share in the coming months.
In the meantime, my new novel, Labyrinth, comes out next month. It's a standalone.
I hope you're doing well and that you had a good summer.

(view spoiler)[Hi Gerry. Just finished Quantum Radio and loved it! I do have a question though. Are the "looking glass worlds" *hypothetical* worlds that the four protagonists would be gifted upon completing their service? At first I thought they were existing best-case scenario worlds that they'd enter. But if so, there would be a problem in that they have counterparts already in those worlds. I'm sure I'm overthinking it. Thanks! (hide spoiler)]
A.G. Riddle
For them, there is one looking glass world that they occupy. It is their world they all occupy at a future time--after their work is done.
Thanks for reading.

First:
Thanks for looking for this book in hardcover.
There are a lot of reasons. They're related to the publishing industry, and they are bad for readers like you and authors like me.
I hope they won't become the norm.

Sorry for the delayed reply!
And unfortunately, I don't know what the music is like at the end. But I appreciate you listening (to the end) and for the question.
Hope all is well.

Hi Adam,
Sorry for the delayed reply (I didn't see a notification for the question).
The story will definitely continue--but with a new trilogy that features the original characters and some new ones.
I am sorry for the delay on this. Going forward, I'm focusing on trilogies that are complete and released rapidly.
I hope all is well.

Hi Georgios,
Thank you for the question, and sorry for the delayed reply (I didn't see the notification for this question and others before it).
Departure is the book I enjoyed writing the most.
For inspiration for story ideas, I start with scientific concepts that intrigue me (the phenomenon of quantum entanglement is, as you mention, is one such topic).
I find that writing about topics I'm personally interested in and passionate about makes the work go faster (and the writing is better, in my opinion). And it's personally enriching to learn about something new.
I hope all is well.

Hi Steve,
First, thanks for the review of Winter World.
Regarding Departure, I was happy with how it ended and am currently working on other stories. But you never know.
Thanks again,
Gerry

Just a coincidence. Thanks for reading.

(view spoiler)[About Lost in Time: I get the idea of the closed time loop with Adeline/Daniele, but it still doesn't explain how all this happened in "the first timeline" (the one BEFORE time travel existed). Technically, before time travel, Daniele didn't exist. Which means she didn't finance Absalom. So time travel...doesn't exist? Isn't that a huge paradox? (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[To me, it's a philosophical question.
In Lost in Time, time travel is what makes the timeline make sense--not breaks it.
Sorry if the novel didn't make sense to you. (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[About Lost in Time: If the reason for creating Absalom 2 was to get Sam back, then the reason Adeline was able to time travel in the first place (in the "first timeline", before the first time travel) was Nora's murder. And since she hadn't time traveled yet, Daniele didn't exist yet and couldn't stage Nora's murder. So, who murdered Nora in the first timeline? (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[Lost in Time. Little confused. Old Adeline (Daniele) sends young Adeline back to 2008. Is this an endless loop? Does Sam never get to spend time with Adeline between 19 years old until she reappears as Daniele? Wouldn’t that piss him off? Am I missing something? (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[Lost in Time operates on a "closed loop" in which Adeline changes her name to Daniele upon arriving in 2008.
You're correct, the nineteen years of her pre-Absolom life overlap almost exactly with her "adult life." She meets her mother when she is pregnant (she arrives a few months before her birth).
Sam does meet Adeline (as Daniele) a few years after she arrives in the past, so in a real sense, he doesn't miss 19 years of her life (he just doesn't know it until later). And by the time he finds out, he is glad to be alive at all (he has been fleeing dinosaurs, large crocodiles, volcanos, Earthquakes, and surviving on a diet of earthworms). :) But certainly, missing some of Adeline's life is a loss (much like the passing of his wife, who he never got to grow old with).
Hope that helps and thanks for reading. (hide spoiler)]

Hi Katie,
I'm so glad you both enjoyed the books!
Yes--I visited Gibraltar probably a decade ago and have always been fascinated by the Rock of Gibraltar for a few reasons:
-- its significance in ancient myths (as part of the boundary of the known world)
-- the Barbary macaques (which are present nowhere else in Europe that I know of)
-- the tunnels
For the Atlantis trilogy, the location worked really well with the story, so I used it (and continued incorporating it in future works as sort of a callback).
Hope all is well and thanks for the note.
