Was anyone else happy (maybe not the right word??) that something happened to Jet because now everyone will realize Blythe was right all along and Violet is an evil, conniving little monster?

I would have made a big fuss, called children services, WHATEVER, and even no one believe me, at least Violet would realize that people would now suspect her if anything DID happen, and the baby would be somewhat safe. I thought this was a TERRIBLE plot device. This was an imaginary baby and I was so flipped out and angry. Imagine how I feel when I read about child abuse in the papers. Was this novel advocating that we just sit back because, hey, I told everyone in a pretty typewritten account, but no one believed me?! I'm all worked up again!!! I knew this novel was going to end this way. (less)
