Goodreads asked Adam Light:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Adam Light When I get mental blockage, it helps to step away from the story for a little while. Take the kids to the park, walk the dog, read a book. Hot showers seem to break up the clogs in the old brain pipes sometimes. There are a lot of ways I can get lost in some unrelated activity, and then hopefully I will have climbed over the blockade by the time I resume writing. A lot of times something else I do or see or what not will trigger the idea with no effort on my part at all. Not that I've ever had writer's block or anything, you know.
