(view spoiler)[I've recently reread Curse of Chalion. Thank you for that book; it's one of my favorites. A thought did occur to me while reading it. Was the "drop of the Father's blood" that was given to the Golden General part of a conflict between the Father and the Bastard? My thinking on this is that by spilling His ineffable divinity to a Quadrene, he would be interfering with the worship of the Bastard. (hide spoiler)]

This reminds me, having just rewatched Good Omens, of the dispute between the Great Plan, and the Ineffable Plan.
I think this one's Ineffable.

I was rereading The Warrior's Apprentice, and Bothari's impassioned speech just before he was killed really struck me. I never felt empathy for that character before, but his desperate wish was to be buried at the foot of Cordelia's grave. In Gentleman Jole, Cordelia is moving forward with life on Sergyar. Does she plan for her eventual remains to be interred on Sergyar, or on Barrayar?

Dear Lois, May I offer you not a question but a love letter? "The Curse of Chalion" is PERFECT. Of course I want you to write more, you do it so very well on so many levels, and in so many worlds, but I also want you to take care of yourself and be properly balanced before you start to lift the next story. Be well. Diana

I love your work. I pre-purchase as soon as the option is available, add the release dates to my calendar, and countdown the days until publication! You have eight books not yet bundled together for the World of the Five Gods anthology series. That's enough for two more additions and most of a third! Will you continue this series and if so, do you have any idea when a fourth book might be forthcoming? Thank you.
