(view spoiler)[Hi! I finished The bridge kingdom and The Traitor Queen a couple of weeks ago. LOVE THEM. Thanks, good books have helped me through this year. I know you already said that the next 2 books won´t follow Aren and Lara, but is there a chance of a "side story" of them? While fabulous I felt like something was missing... We hadn´t a chapter at list of they FINALLY together. Thanks again! Love your books! (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[I'm so glad you loved them!
You are 100% right—there is something missing! And that's because I'm not done with Lara & Aren. While book 3&4 are told from Keris and Zarrah's points of view (and hopefully 5&6 from Ahnna and a certain prince's point of view!), Lara and Aren remain critical secondary characters.
The events of book 3 do run on a parallel timeline to TTQ, but in book 4, the timeline presses forward and you'll see how Lara & Aren's relationship develops, as well as the challenges Ithicana faces. You'll also see how Lara deals with what is now a very conflicted relationship with her brother, as well as how Aren and his sister's relationship progresses as she departs for Harendell (that's a big plot point in Ahnna's books).
I DO recognize that readers want some of that content from Lara & Aren's points of view, so when we get there, I'll likely do extra chapters narrated by them that you can read in conjunction with the novels themselves! If you want to ensure you don't miss this extra content, make sure you're subscribed to my newsletter or follow me on Instagram! (hide spoiler)]

A bit of some advice: do not leave such a huge gap between book series as for a new writers it might be a deadly mistake. Readers expect another book in any series to read as soon as that can be possible so they do not forget the previous on especially when there are so many wonderful books and writers?
