I'm listening to the Bridge Kingdom series through Audible and wondered if there's a map of the world in the printed edition? I think I have a decent understanding of the layout but I could be wrong :)

Hi Danielle! I've finished TTQ and it was a wild rush! I couldn't stop reading it and I've loved it SO much, but in that amount of action (and missed hearbeats) I missed more time for interaction between Lara and Aren, compared to book 1..I know we'll still see them again in the next books, but can we hope there will be another novel (or at least some novellas ç_ç)with them as main characters again?? *fingerscrossed*

Danielle L. Jensen Unfortunately I don't yet. Like many people, I've spent the past year juggling work and reduced childcare, which sadly has put me behind on this project. But I hope I'll be able to provide an update soon.

Hi. Are Dark Shores and Dark Skies more YA, like stolen songbird or NA/A like The bridge kingome? I loved both series so much by the way but The bridge kingdom is my favorite.
Danielle L. Jensen The Dark Shores series is upper YA. I'd say it fits somewhere between Stolen Songbird and The Bridge Kingdom. Hope that helps!

Is The Traitor Queen going to be in hardcover? (so I know before I buy The Bridge Kingdom in hardcover)
Danielle L. Jensen Yes! There are two hardcover editions for both books. You can purchase the BaeCrate exclusive editions (https://baecrate.com/pages/the-bridge...) or else there will be a regular hardcover edition like there is for The Bridge Kingdom (preorder for that will be up in July).

Danielle L. Jensen The Bridge Kingdom series is New Adult, and my other two series (Dark Shores & The Malediction Trilogy) are YA.

How many books are going to be there in the Bridge kingdom series? I love it soo much! Can you please somehow get the kindle edition released sooner? Please?!!
Danielle L. Jensen There will be at least four. The first two follow Lara & Aren and the second two follow Keris & Zarrah (characters you meet in The Traitor Queen).

Unfortunately, my release dates are determined by my contract with Audible Originals, so releasing early isn't an option.

What is the release dat for the Traitor Queen, I read and loved Bridge kingdom and now can't wait for the sequel. With everything going on is there a chance you will release the book early?
Danielle L. Jensen These really are terrible times for everyone! Unfortunately while I'd love to brighten the days of my print/ebook readers, I'm contractually bound to keep TTQ exclusive to audio for 6 months, so the release date must remain September 1.

Will The Bridge Kingdom series be only 2 books or more?
Danielle L. Jensen Lara and Aren's story will be two books, but I hope to have the opportunity to write about more of the characters in this world in the future!

Hello! I book talked your book, Dark Shores to my classes of senior high school students today, and I had several who wanted to read it, but I overlooked that the book hasn't been released yet! (Insert face palm) I've never asked an author for something like this before, but would there be any way I could get an advanced copy for my students?
Danielle L. Jensen Hi! First of all, thank you so much for talking up Dark Shores to your students – I really appreciate it! While I do get a small number of advance copies for giveaways, Tor Teen handles the distribution of arcs to reviewers, librarians, booksellers, and educators, so they are who you should contact to get one. But potentially the better option is to ask your school librarian if they can either get an advance copy or order a finished copy.

I hope your students enjoy it once they have a chance to read it!

I'm so excited to learn that The Bridge Kingdom is coming out in print!!!! I want to share it with everyone I know. I LOVE IT and I don't want to leave the universe you created. Sadly, I must work. haha When can we look forward to the next book in the series?
Danielle L. Jensen Thank you so much!! Nothing makes me happier than hearing a reader has connected with one of my novels! The print/ebook edition of The Bridge Kingdom is planned for in the summer of 2019, and the sequel is planned to be released on Audible in the fall of 2019!

This may be a bit pre-mature, but is the new Dark Shores the first of an ongoing series following the same characters (like the Malediction Trilogy)? Or is it a stand-alone(ish) book but the overall series takes place in the same location/time but potentially following secondary characters/siblings/etc?
Danielle L. Jensen There is something a bit unique about how this series is structured, which I can't talk about yet. But yes, the series does follow the point of view characters through multiple books :) I'll share more when I can!
