Where did you get the idea to write ' The Mystwick School of Musicraft'? I am currently reading this book and I think this is one of the best books I have ever read.I want to become a musician one day and this book is so inspiring for me.I always wanted to read a book which had a music school.In this book I didn't only get that but also so much more.And are you yourself a musician too?Is this book getting a sequel?

Jessica Khoury 1 - I got the idea for Mystwick sitting in the front row at the theater, for a production of Evita. While watching the orchestra warm up, I thought the conductor looked like a wizard with his baton waving around. It felt like he was directing the orchestra thru some grand magic spell.

2 - I wouldn’t say I’m a musician. I played piano for many years, and have also played violin, but I was definitely not good enough to go to Mystwick! :P
