Did anyone else feel a confusion over Ann and Finn's relationship? I felt like it was too shallow and there was not enough depth describing it. I kept waiting for the author to show Ann's real emotions over the tragedy at some point, like there would be something more to it, to her motherly grief, but it felt very fleeting and not deep.
