My large book group is doing a virtual Zoom book club on Thursday September 17th dedicated to your books. Our 35+ women are each picking one of your books to read and then will share what they enjoyed most about the book etc. It should be lots of fun. Which book of yours would you pick to share with my group and why?

I would choose Have You Seen Luis Velez? I think it makes a good discussion because it opens up questions about our social responsibility to each other. I had a book group recently tell me it caused them to start looking into volunteer opportunities, so they wouldn't have to be like the characters in the book who had always meant to do more, but life intervened. I like the group responses I've gotten on that book. Thank you for asking, and I hope your group has a great virtual meeting.

It's been some time since the incredible Pay it Forward book and movie. I adore both. How does it feel to have built something so unique but well known around the world? It's not just the saying, it's the ability people feel they have to pay it forward when previously they may have done nothing. The most recent example I can find was posted just 24 hours ago by Yahoo News - http://tinyurl.com/lox6mk9

I would like to thank you for pay it forward. We are many teachers here in Sweden who show this movie to our pupils and have long discussions about many aspects in the film. Just last week 25 11 year olds watched and afterwards took action and did a few good deeds. Thank you so very much for writing this clever book?! Very best Wishes Malin Ek
