Goodreads asked Aksel Erzinclioglu:

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Aksel Erzinclioglu Just keep writing. And find people you trust who are willing to read your work. I still consider myself an aspiring writer so feel I'm not in a great position to dish out feedback. But the best thing I think for new writers is to be able to take criticism. However you also need to know who to ask. Some people will simply give criticism because you've asked for it and will essentially poke holes where there aren't any, just so they can feel like they've done something. This is not useful. You need people who will break down your work and explain to you where you have gone wrong while also suggesting ways that you can improve.
