How do you get inspired to write?

Aksel Erzinclioglu Honestly, there's nothing specific. It can be a scene from a film, a tiny scenario in a game or story. Usually it's something small that I see somewhere and think 'well that's not how I would have done it.' In the case of "The Agonising Death of Waltham Pinchiksnits" I was out walking one day when that title popped into my head. I found it so bizarre and amusing that I had to go home straight away and begin writing it.
