The movie with Will Smith only superficially resembles this series of short stories. Each story stands the test of time as Asimov predicted much of the future of robotics. All of the stories are entertaining, intelligent and interesting.

I would also say yes. It also shows how robots can evolve from assembly-line robots like we have today to service robots that replaces people in hazardous places to the point where they can literally become self-aware.
