Hi Jodi, I discovered your St Mary's books late last year. I've since read them all. I ADORE them. They are an absolute joy (except for the one, you know the one, with events so painful it just about killed me, but even then it was still a great book). I just wanted to ask if you'll continue writing more? I really really hope so. I recommend them to everyone & would love to read more more more.

Hi Mandy, thanks for this. And thank you for ADORING my books. A grateful author sends her thanks. I don't know if it's only the St Mary's books you've read, but there's also a related Time Police series, the Frogmorton Farm series and the Elizabeth Cage series. Plus a Regency Romance that crept in somewhere. A tribute, I think, to the power of my agent's electrodes. I have no plans to stop writing - chance would be a fine thing - and I do have ideas for future books. St Mary's won't go on forever - I don't want people saying the series has got old and I should have stopped several books ago. Take care and stay safe. Jodi.

Love your books! I do wonder about the work the team does. Are all their recorders hand-held? That seems like it would be obvious, holding up a recorder. Do they have multiple recorders on them, like spy cameras in their hats? Drones that look like birds? What about the flora and fauna? I know Max has no interest in that (she refers to "big white birds" in Egypt), but somewhere there's a "nature" historian.

I absolutely adore your books, can’t get enough of them. How long does the journey take once the world goes white? Does anything happen in the meantime while travelling? I assume the journey must have some length as emergency extraction is quicker. Also, where has Van Owen gone? Did she get better? Will she come back? Thanks xx

I especially love both Leon and Tim, and how they are both so close to Max but don't actually interact with each other that much. But, I can't quite figure out why Chief Farrell is being replaced as second in command. Is Peterson just coming on as Deputy Director to eventually replace Dr. Bairstow and Leon is still in his usual role, or has Leon decided or been asked to step down and have Tim replace him?
