As you can see, Tess Gerritsen is one of my favorite authors. It would be better to read the series of Rizzoli and Isles iin order. Although, characters and events in previous novels appear or are mentioned doesn't take away the flow of the novel or confuse you from the story your reading. Her novels had inspired me to write four published medical mystery novels. (less)
