(view spoiler)[Why did Celestia make it so the brothers and their followers would always fight for eternity? That's kind of crazy and it also punishes a bunch of innocents. Not to mention that Karak and Ashur might actually have made up but can't. Also how does a god falling asleep work? Will paladins still have their gifts/powers? Why does Ashur and Celestia sleep but Karark doesn't? Thanks. (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[Celestia technically didn't. She split her little corner of eternity in half and chucked the brother gods in either side. The only reason it continues the war is that neither god can kill the other, but the war is still their responsibility.
Sleep: they're just not paying attention is what it boils down to. Think of it as closing their eyes to the world. As for the paladins, the strength of their faith manifests their abilities, whereas the priests request power, and are then granted it (so having the granter not paying attention handicaps them in a way the paladins aren't).
As for Karak: he's pissed, and annoyed, and angry, and just lost a war. Of course he's going to be paying more attention to Ashhur, who at the end of book 5, thought he'd finally won his big war and tried to relax and take a breather. (hide spoiler)]

Hello, Mr. Dalglish I`m a fan of your work and consider it one of my ispirations to writing. My question for you is will I be seeing any thing of Haern`s offspring with Zusa? I`ve read all of shadow dance series, half of the half-orc series, and a book away from finishing the paladin series. Seeing Haern`s legacy take place somewhere or even his/her own series would be great.
