Little Women is popular right now, so maybe try JO'S BOYS (which comes after LITTLE MEN) and characters in that have become teens. Some lesser known Alcott books include OLD FASHIONED GIRL, and JACK AND JILL (which I just re-read--characters are in early teens). My favorite is EIGHT COUSINS. All have e-book editions you might borrow free from public libraries. Have you read Frances Hodgson Burnett's LITTLE PRINCESS and SECRET GARDEN? (less)
