Cornelia Funke Inkworld is not that small, Emil. And there are no social media?:) In the Middle Ages it was for sure much easier to keep secrets or pretend within a certain realm. I am also not sure the Adderhead shared his knowledge. As far as I know Capricon's father was already dead in Inkspell, but I don't know everything about my stories. They reveal a few secrets to me, but they also fool me, lie to me, trick me and hide from me at times. I only catch glimpses about their reality - and share those with my readers. And yes, Fenoglio has a few dark sides, and found it quite easy to look into his evil characters' hearts
