Sorry to ask another question but, will we ever get to meet the sixth formers that stopped most of the bullying. Also, why was the kid who was dared to kiss Charlie acting weird? Was he just nervous and uncomfortable or is it more than that?

First of all, I wanted to thank you. As a demisexual/romantic, I have never truly been able to see myself in a character. Aled changed that. I wish I could explain how I felt reading a book where I could genuinely connect to a main character, but being able to see an aspect of myself in Aled made me feel less alone. Thank you. My question is: What/who was the inspiration behind Aled?
