How did you come up with the idea for the Dark night series and who inspired you as an author?

I don't have a Dark Night series, but I do have a Dark Series, also called the Carpathian Series.
I used to tell my children stories at night, particularly my oldest son Calvert. After I lost him, I was devastated. As a mother, you have to get up and carry on. The world keeps going and you're in this place of numbness. The Carpathians were born from that. Feeling no emotion. Feeling as if there was no color or joy in the world. What brought that back? For them "the one". For me it was family. So, I blended them together.

Hi Christine! You are one of my favorite authors and The Ghostwalker series is really amazing. While I love Team 4, I really miss some of the other Teams, specifically Team 3. I know Javier likes to hide and blend in but do you think you might be able to poke him enough that he will come out and talk to you? We REALLY need his book. Hope you are staying safe during this difficult time. Thank you!
