What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

R.J. Craddock Read, read and read! Then examine what your favorite authors did well. Then find an idea that takes over your whole life. Write down a quick outline to get you started and then sit down and write till your fingers feel like they'll fall off. Don't revise, don't look back till the whole first draft is down. It's okay if it sucks, just as long as you finish a draft. You'll find that once you've finished one draft that revising, rewrites and beefing up your Manuscript is the easier part.
