Sue London Hi Jo! Wow, I feel like your question is more insightful than my plan! As you may have noticed, all the Greek references have been only loosely associated with the heroine and I'm not attempting to retell the goddess stories. In this particular case it was something ELSE from the Persephone story that I had keyed on (being held underground), but I like your interpretation, too!
