Happy, happy, happy that I am holding my hardback copy of Penric's Progress in my hand! Now I can loan the dead tree version to my daughters, as I couldn't with the eBooks. I seriously thought about a signed copy from Uncle Hugo's, double the cost precludes. :-( I'm praying that the "Orphans of Raspay" is going to appear this way as well? Cheers from a hazy, smoky Melbourne, Peter L

"The Orphans of Raspay" is going to have a lovely Subterranean Press edition later this year, but it will be a while before it gets collected, as I'd have to write a couple of sibling-stories to go-with to make up market weight. Baen did such a nice job on the book design, I rather hope so, just to get another volume. Nothing in progress, Penric or otherwise, at the moment, though.

Question 2? Have you (or your agent) thought of doing an Ebook box set with the correct reading order and all installments for an easy complete purchase? Even the Ebooks are kind of hard to scour through to find the right ones. I realize this isn't always simple with licensing rights and whatnot. To finish, thanks for writing what is one of my favorite universes to be immersed in. Cheers

It's occurred to me that, when Penric stays anywhere for a while, there may be a significant decrease in the local population of bugs and vermin. I'm no ecologist, but I've heard about the dramatic and unexpected consequences of reintroducing wolves into the Yellowstone National Park; perhaps wiping out pests could have other unexpected ecological consequences. Is this an interesting thought?
