For me, it’s not that the descriptions were overly graphic but that the whole attitude toward casual sex seemed way too cavalier and careless. If you’re considering this for, say, a teen, I would definitely discourage that. There is zero mention of taking precautions for safe sex, lots of focus on negligent parenting, substance abuse, irresponsible promiscuity. I enjoyed the book and would recommend it to my adult children but definitely not to younger folks. Unless you want to use it as a springboard to discussions about how not to run your life...(less)
