I am half way through the book and I'm enjoying it, but one question still remains. Why didn't Olivia spend her quarantine time alone, instead of with her family that could contact Haag from her? You would almost think that the government would insist upon it.

As doctor she was working every Christmas in recent years so I don't find it all that unreasonable to have her spend the holidays for once with family.(less)
