The story ideas come from the topics that fascinate me as well as my fears (and the plots end up being a combination of both). I've had a life-long interest in me human evolution, time travel, and medical science, and I'm growing increasingly concerned about the role of technology in our lives, AI, robotics, VR, and other extinction level threats humanity faces. It's a great time to be alive for a science fiction writer.
