I loved your book Fever. When do you know an idea for a book will speak to readers, or do you just write regardless until it's finished?

Mary Beth Keane Hi, Sorry this answer comes so late. Truthfully I don't really know if an idea will speak to readers and I try not to worry about it. If it speaks to me - gets my heart rate up, gets me to my desk in the morning - I have to believe someone else will be interested, too. I try not to think about audience or worse, the business of publishing, until I've finished writing a novel.
