I loved Ask Again, Yes so I looked at the descriptions of your other books and noticed a recurring theme of Irish immigrants. Are you drawing from family history?

Mary Beth Keane My parents immigrated to New York from the west of Ireland so that's probably where that comes from. In New York I felt so Irish, but in Ireland I felt so American. I think that's why I'm fixated on the idea of home and what it means.
