Now that We Were Liars is out, are there any plans to write another book in the near future - and, if so, have you considered writing another series (like Ruby Oliver) or joint novel (like How to Be Bad) or at the very least a tie-in short story (like The Bake Sale)?

E. Lockhart I am writing a new book, yes. A book publishes a year after the writer finishes it, so I am already at work on the next thing. But no more Ruby. I love her! But her story is done. Nice news: my publisher is re-issuing the series with the older jackets and a lovely new one for the fourth book. I would like to do another series, because writing series books is very fun -- but my next two novels will be standalone.
