Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Holly Castillo Great question! I'm a huge fan of the Military, especially Special Ops. My father went to Vietnam at the young age of 19 as a Private in the Army and within a handful of years became a Captain in the Rangers. His stories inspired my heroes. I've lived in Central and South Texas my entire life and love telling stories about this amazing state and honoring the diverse culture. Texas Navy SEALs pulled together two things I'm extremely passionate about, and I get to pull directly from real-world headlines for the suspense part. Stay tuned for the next book about Phantom--it uses my experience as a Quarter Horse Show Competitor to bring Phantom his true love.
