Luna asked J.D. Barker:

With regard to your answer is this the norm? I ask because it seems to me that the coauthored books I have read seem to be written by one person. I usually do not pick up on two distinct styles. I have always wondered about this aspect...........

J.D. Barker I've worked with many coauthors and the process is always different. With DRACUL, we technically had a third author in Bram Stoker. Portions of the text came directly from his notes. In order to match his voice, cadence, and vocabulary, I read everything Bram wrote (published and not) and listened to the audiobook for DRACULA on a constant repeat during the writing process. I felt it was important all the voices blend and match his original text as close as possible.
