Jean Hendrick asked:

I am trying to find out what Yorkie Bars are. I think they are like what we call Internal Affairs Officers, but the book, so far does not say. What does Yorkie Bars mean in this book? Thank you.

Janey Yorkie bars are chocolate bars. The officers are called Yorkie Bars because they come from Yorkshire - in England, investigations into one police force are usually carried out by officers from a different policing area. (I've never heard the term Yorkie used of Yorkshire people but Yorkshire Terriers - a dog breed- are often called Yorkies.)
LeAnne What we in the US call Internal Affairs. They investigate suspected internal corruption or any questionable action by a policeman, etc.
Inken A Yorkie Bar in reality is a chocolate bar in the UK. It comes in different flavours (altho my favourite was always biscuit and raisins). In this novel it's also a nickname for the guys investigating DI Greene and her dead husband.
