Sharon Kay Penman Almost anything is possible, David, for we simply do not have the documentation to verify a cause of death in the Middle Ages, not unless he died in battle or she died in childbirth. But speaking just for myself, I did not find this new theory persuasive. Always fun to speculate, though.
