Goodreads asked C.E. Whitaker III:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

C.E. Whitaker III I try to fight through it for the most part. However, if it gets really bad, I usually see if I can work on something else to help get my energy flowing again.

Sometimes I will be outlining a story and instead of going scene by scene, I will stop and then attack the major remaining scenes first (in order if possible). If I can get the harder scenes out of the way, that can be a catalyst to re-opening my creative well.
