Goodreads asked A.D. Hawkins:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

A.D. Hawkins Write anything on the blank page. It doesn't matter if you don't use it or if what you say has little or nothing to do with your story, keep writing. Thoughts and ideas will flow into meaningful sentences and plot. How do I get the hero out of this, where does the story go next, where will it end? Make a list of places the next chapter might take the characters, jot down notes for later. Now you have something on the blank page and you'll want to write on.
