How do you start your beginnings? How do you decide what makes a good beginning? I have been writing so many short stories since I was very young but I can never decide on what would make a better beginning and ending for them. I adore Radio Silence and I am really happy with Heartbreaker.

Alice Oseman I don't think there's one 'correct' answer to this! I personally tend to just jump straight into the action and worry about making it 'good' later on. Often it's difficult to tell what's the best way to start a story until you've actually got a whole story to work with. Good luck!

Hi, I've just read Radio Silence and I want to say that it was soo amazing! One of the best books I've ever read I decided to read Radio Silence thanks to Heartstopper and I have a little question Why Aled don't even mention about Charlie during whole book? I though they're friends, but Charlie seems to know nothing about Aled's problems in Heartstopper, maybe they just aren't that close? Thanks for your answer!! xx
