My books are like my children--I love them all the same (but sometimes for different reasons). That said, I do have a special place in my heart for Island of Graves, book 6 of the original series, because it was one of the hardest to write. I'd been preparing for the major change with one particular character for almost the whole series, and the time finally came.
Other than that, I just finished the first draft of The Unwanteds Quests book 4 (watch my Instagram for cover/title release: @lisa_mcmann), and I am super excited about it. It'll be out in September 2019!
